This is me: Who Me?.pptx
This Summer Semester, the course will be entirely online. Zoom Problem-Solving Sessions and Zoom Labs will take place at 10:30-12:00 on the assigned days, but can be attended or viewed at those or at other times . The course will use the online textbook (or print) Introductory Chemistry, by Tro 6th edition which must be read, along with the lectures provided (required)each week
Testing will occur online and will consist of 14 regular quizzes, 5 sectional exams and a final, all of which will assume you have done the required homework and regular sectional and mastery exams. Communication will be via the Inbox or by my personal email, glessard@llu.edu. I will respond within the day, prior to June 21 and during the class, morning and evening.
I will accept students through June 23. I will have a ZOOM Class Organizational Meeting, Monday June 21 at 10:30 (you must have ZOOM on your computer) . The workload will commence on June 22 so if you were to enter later, you would have too much catching up to do. Thus, no student will be accepted after June 23 since you would have little chance of catching up.
In addition, my contract with you for the course is found in the Syllabus Summer 21 Syllabus.docx . We will go over the syllabus in the class Organizational Meeting, thus the contents of the syllabus will be binding on all students.
The weekly content schedule Summer Schedule 2021.docx provides you with the information as to what you need to study and the minimum set of problems you need to solve in order to be ready for the sectional examinations. Please go over mine and my wife's recommended method for study. There are no shortcuts. Remember, you are learning how to study for the sciences and the health sciences in this class
