To Grow or Not to Grow?

This week we will be collecting our final data set regarding plant growth to determine if your selected species contain allelopathic chemicals. These skills are important to help you understand how plants defend themselves while competing for nutrients.

Lab sessions will take place Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:45pm - 2:20pm in HLS (Human Life Sciences building) 245.

Student Hours for one-on-one assistance are Wednesdays from 2:30pm - 3:30pm in either HLS245 or HLS201. You can also arrange a meeting via Zoom for any day or time that works best for you.

December 9

Friday, December 9, we will be having our one-on-one meetings via Zoom. These are mandatory and worth the same number of points as attending lab on campus. There is no in-person lab on Friday, and this will be the last meeting of the semester.

To prepare, please be sure that you have a majority of your plant growth lab worksheets completed. At the least, have your graphs and conclusions from both parts ready so that we can discuss them. We can also talk about any other questions you have about the remaining assignments and final lab grade.
