Student to Student ConferZoom Meetings

I have set up daily ConferZoom meetings (not required) for Students to interact with each other while working on the study guides. You can screen share, use your camcorder or just your microphone, etc. ConferZoom does it all. Working on these study guides and having them ready when you take the tests makes a huge difference. The test questions come from the study guides and are worded exactly as the study guide states. The study guides come from the book. Keep in mind some of the T/F questions are in the False format, but not all of them. Working the study guide will seem confusing for some of the questions; for example one question might say Vitamin A: Well, read up on vitamin A esp. if it is fat soluble or water soluble. Other questions will be very specific. The vagueness of some of the questions is by design. This will encourage you to read up and become familiar with that particular topic. These ConferZoom meetings are 2 hours long, but you do not have to stay the entire time. You can come and go as you please. This ConferZoom room is open every day during the entirety of the class. I chose 3 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the meeting times. Hey, you don't have to skip dinner. You may attend all of the meeting, some of the meetings or none of them. It is up to you. I have no problem with students sharing answers, questions etc. in this room. It is set up so students can work together. This is what it is designed for, sort of a group project (depending on how many students are logged in at the same time). You can set up times with other students or groups of students to meet there on a particular day. I will not monitor or even be in these meetings. It is up to you to interact with anyone there. The reason I won't be there is so that students are free to discuss whatever they want, but they are mainly to work on the study guides as a group. You can complain to other students about me or the class without my being there. Hopefully that won't be the case. I don't record these meetings either. It is the same link for every meeting. You can message and chat with others and meet there on certain dates at certain times. If you run into problems, message me and I will try to help. To attend these meeting, please click on the ConferZoom Icon. You will see it on the left. Then find the meeting you want to attend and click on the plus icon. It will say Host or Prepare, or something. Click on that and you are in the meeting with cameras and microphones turned on. It may also say this meeting is being recorded, don't worry about that, these recordings are deleted and not viewed by anyone (right away). This option has to be checked in order for our regular zoom meetings to be automatically recorded.
